If
you get a Loading Error message on the weather page, before going any further
did you include the 'www.' part of the web address?
If you just typed 'g8ajn.tv' you can not access the flash software as it is
only allowed to run on one URL and cant be linked for security reasons.
Java, Flash player,adobe acrobat..The list goes on.
These free addons are esssential these days if you are to be able to view the many sites that use them but have you got them installed?
Heres a quick checklist to find out...
Windows XP settings ....(This assumes you are using internet exlorer 6 or 7)
Go to the top of this browser and click on TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/ADVANCED
Under the heading Microsoft VM tick Java logging and JIT compiler. (Console not important)
if Microsoft VM heading is not there then click here to download ..
To enable VM on Internet Explorer 6:
go
to TOOLS / INTERNET OPTIONS / SECURITY / CUSTOM LEVEL / JAVA PERMISSIONS
select HIGH SAFETY
That
should do it. If not check out your firewall settings.
If you do not see the animated dials on the weather page, you can download the latest version of Java free from SUN JAVA (Untick Google toolbar option)
I suggest you choose a manual download and run instal of Java from the downloaded file.
In order to see the weather dials you should also have installed...
FLASH PLAYER (Untick Yahoo toolbar option)
Then close Internet Explorer (if open) and re-open it to see the fabulous 3d graphics!
